It's infuriating! I also feel like telling her that actually, I'm the mayor and I'll place the damn zen garden whenever the hell I like!
But then, villagers come along and randomly plot their houses anywhere....sometimes within a square of another house or building. Yet that's completely fine for them to do. Further animal crossing games I would like to see us able to choose specific plots to use as villager houses and see the town map as a square grid whenever we are placing pwps....and of course the ability to place them wherever we like!

Arrrgh, why can't I fire her? The fact that the imaginary borders around each object can't overlap with each other makes town landscaping so goddam difficult. IF THE NOTICE BOARD CAN BE RIGHT NEXT TO THE FENCE WHY CAN'T MY INSTRUMENT SHELTER, IT JUST MAKES SENSE! And the worst part is she doesn't react to pitfalls

I really dislike that part of the game! Having to listen to Isabellle over and over while you're trying to place something is really aggravating!

I feel your pain. Hopefully, if they ever make a new game, they'll make it easier to put down PWPs, 'cause like... it's such an annoyance especially when you only have so much space to work with. :/

i hope the next game, if the player is the mayor, gives you more powers and duties! i always feel like it's my fault that isabelle does more actual mayoral work than i do and i wish i could fix it...

i hope they fix it like how the owl in the museum used to ramble for ages about things and now he doesn't because that used to annoy me as well. i hope in the next one space doesn't matter nearly as much and we get unlimited pwps there's too many good ones!

Perhaps they could do a grid system where you can directly edit the whole town and rearrange everything (within reason). Like an animal crossing build program or something.

It's a peaceful game....... if you don't care to complete the museum, don't matter the pwp, money, villager etc.
but if you do care.... in a way it's a stressful game without even thinking about it because you want your town to be perfect for you without hacking but it's just to hard
