Now I feel obligated to clean my town. Zell came by the other days and said: First, you should really gather everything you don't want and get rid of it. That would help a bit!

Then I was looking at my pictures and Bam said: Your house got really messy, and you were super upset...and "You could make a furniture maze!"

Today I got on to a letter with a present, the letter read: To Panduhh, Thanks for having me over the other day. It broke my heart to see your room so messy. Sorry if I'm being all nosy, but I'll give this to you. It might help you clean up! From tidy Mr. Zell

In the present was a classic wardrobe.

i have items literally all over the ground in mine, literally every single one of my towns come out like this it's a problem

but i'm always rlly paranoid whenever my friends visit or something because i legit have so many rare/expensive items laying right there that they could just pick up lmao

It used to be! There used to be random stuff and trash all over the place! But I recently decided to clear up. I got rid of all the trash, and spent ages pulling out all the weeds, so now my town is... decent... However, there are pears all over the floor, everywhere.

My old town (Oaks) is an absolute pig sty. There's junk everywhere, I'm in the process of clearing it out. Young me was such a hoarder! I mean, I'm alright with a small pile of stuff on the ground I guess, but there's stuff scattered in piles ranging anywhere from 2 to 10. I have four shirts randomly sitting in front of the roost, dresses next to vinegar, I had an axe and some butter next to the campsite... What did I do before leaving for a year?! XD

I've recently gotten a bunch of PWP suggestions that I want to build. I was holding out for Wisteria Trellis from my Uchi villager, and the Wooden Bridge from my Cranky villager. They both suggested other projects before giving me the ones I wanted, so I have quite a few Zen things to build, and a windmill, scarecrow, log bench, etc.

I'm going for an older-looking town instead of a Fairy Tale town this time around, so I'd say I have a pretty good selection right now.

Some parts of my town are really organized, but most of it just has villagers, flowers, and PWPs in random places, because I placed some PWPs that will be replaced later on. I just didn't want villagers moving there. >>

My town used to be a mess but now I've cleaned it up a bit. I also cleaned out my storage. But my problem is... I'M A SECRET HOARDER! I keep buying Gracie items and I don't want to sell them!!! So yeah, I feel you. my town is clean on the outside, a mess on the inside...

Aw, oh my goodness! It's so cute that Zell is trying to help you clean up. I think you should host a giveaway to get rid of some of your items, or actually, selling them would be a good idea too :3 Honestly, my town is kind of messy, too... but only with flowers. I have a lot of flowers everywhere that I really don't want, and idk what to do with them yet. I guess we'll see *shrug*

It honestly depends on the town, I have 6 of them 1 is my sets dlc fruit and some hybrids town, it might look like a mess but a very organized mess I know where everything is, where each dlc is in which alt carries which dlc, where all the hybrids are and such. So while to others it might look like a mess it really isn't. My other towns are used for hybrids. Caprica my first ever town is a very organized hybrid town. However the other four its a mix of organized mess like my sets town.

I actually feel awful about exactly how messy my town is due to negligence lol, I literally dumped every item to clear up my inventory and now it's EVERYWHERE xD Not much to look at now aside from too many littered items haha, I still want to fix it up someday again but don't even have any motivation right now : P Hope to fix that fairly soon^^

It isn't anymore, but just remembering the times when it WAS a huge mess stresses me out. Hell, just having my beach be full of scattered and unorganized flowers makes me upset.

I don't have a cycle town so I don't know the feeling of all the time traveling and item storing that would result in lots of weeds, flowers, and used space, but I can only imagine the stress that comes with having all that crap on the ground, nowhere to put it, no desire to sell it...

In a way, it is. There's nothing lying around but there are too much stray flowers and clovers from TT'ing to move villagers out.

Have u tried making a secondary character/third character? they have more locket space/house space and can store some of ur junk strewn about and u can sort while u r at it. Did u also use ur 2nd floor of the museum? for just 40k for all four rooms (10k each) u have a bit more extra space for that. What about all the mail villagers send u? they can go into ur saved mailbox + u can attach items to ur favorite letters from villagers for 180 more storage spots! its also possible with letters u address to someone else if u dont have enough letters from villagers. did i mention ur alternate secondary/ third characters can do this too? that means 340 more storage slots! thats a lot imo
i usually throw away all the clothes/junk villagers give to me instead of leaving it on the ground to grow mold

Yeah I have 3 characters and another town. Everything is full. everything. the museum. all the lockers the floor. the town the beaach. i have been working to clean it up. lol

I have quite a bit of items but I cram them in my locker space and occasionally set things down in front of my train station
At one point it got really bad like everything was full and I was freaking out so I sold everything. I mean EVERYTHING. That included two sets, several DLCs, TONS of unorderables, and a freakish amount of random things. Luckily I didn't use most of the junk. I was rich but in silent tears because that was like all I had minus the one set in my house and some of my favorite things~
Do not sell it all I swear you will regret it
Just start finding the junk, shift things you want somewhere, and set junk you don't want somewhere else. Proceed to sell junk.

OMG Yes! My town is a constant mess, like I've just restarted my main town, but my side towns are still a mess from cycling and collecting things on a town to store them. I have a town that hasn't unlocked the island, so no villagers can move out. It's just one giant storage bin. Everything that can store something is: beaches, floors, lockers, mail boxes. On all 4 characters! It's my go-to for cataloging clothing / furniture. I literally bought the cart to be a storage game, lmao! It keeps my main town a bit more clean.

my town isnt completely covered in junk, but theres enough to the point where i cant plot paths or flowers anywhere decent bc who tf has time to clean everything? i have a lot of furniture and extra tools laying around from purchasing items from other people and i dont want them anymore..so i want to re-sell them here, but im too lazy to even do that yet i dont want to let them go to waste--thats my main issue. laziness.

It's funny because I also bought a game JUST to store my stuff and I've been using it to cycle. I moved a few things over and that's it. I'm hoping once I get my new zelda 3ds ( 5 days!) I'll be able to do it since I wont have to steal my hubby's anymore and I'll be able to just keep my gate open on my new DS and it will be fine to move back and forth to put the stuff i DO want on another game for a while. But I've been trying! So far I've gone through all my flooring... and that took like a day.
