is your town a MESS?

Aside from tons of flowers and ugly dirt patches everywhere, my town is tidy. If your house and locker are full, you could put the valuable items in the museum. I, personally, would just get rid of every reorderable thing I don't need or use and stash the rest in the museum and my house.

My town is pretty clean.. Flowers are everywhere though. If flowers count as a mess, my town is in ruins. xD
I never left items on the ground, because my brother once told me a villager once grabbed his stuff off the ground. Turns out they can't do that I recently discovered. My guess it was visitor who took his items.

I hate having a mess in my town. I covered pretty much everything in paths and flowers to stop pitfalls from popping up.

you are not alone. my town was literally a landfill before i moved everything to the beach. luckily it was big enough to hold all my items lol

Well, I started on cleaning my town again yesterday. My biggest issue is that I don't know what is re-orderable since there is a ton of stuff. i'm willing to just sell all of the stuff I can order again since i have plenty of bells that I don't need. so I've been going to the catalog, checking, and then selling at re-tail. I'm not even going to bother selling stuff here (unless I happen across multiple DLC/island items or whatever. I'm so sick of my town being messy. And I dont consider flowers a mess, the whole left side of my town is covered with hybrids (that I probably don't need) haha

Yes!!!! This is definitely my issue, and it's really annoying me. Really annoying me. My mayor's home is literally nothing but a hoarder's home. Left, right, and back rooms are GracieGrace and unorderables clothes, basement is food (orderable, customized, and unorderable combined), my attic is unorderable misc.: mushrooms, harvest fest ingredients, garbage, eggs, fruit, random toy hammers ??? I don't even know anymore. My main room off the entrance is thankfully actual furniture, but it's completely clogged. It's just random furniture pieces I like, I made no attempt to make any of it look nice. There's literally a small path/maze because it's so clogged. Now, that's just the start.....

Behind my house is fruits, behind the town hall is well over a hundred gyroids, behind re-tail's is over 200 fossils, the beach is completely clogged in garbage, eggs, hybrids, ores, and mushrooms, the hidden beach is clogged in random collectible items, gate is surrounded in feathers, misc random, unorderables, partial sweets set, and a grid of gold roses and gold ore. The big tree is surrounded in well over a couple hundred items including: hand-helds like fireworks and wands, bushes, saplings, fertilizers, unidentified fossils, lost items and garbage, misc, and more gyroids.

Locker, and museum are completely clogged in random, and my OC's locker is clogged with food unorderables. My OC's house and yard are literally the only areas unaffected from hoarding. I need help....

My town is a temporary mess, I would say. I reset recently and after about a week or two of playing, the mess has slowly subsided, but now that I'm trying to decorate my house, things are getting a bit messy again! My locker is full (give or take a space), and I'm rushing around TBT forums, trying to find certain items and sets. It's cluttered now, but once my house is done, it won't be so bad.

It sure is XD I've got way too much stuff in my closet and the museum exhibits, so all my extra unorderables are all over the ground, as well as extra genuine paintings and some reorderable stuff I like to keep on hand for when villagers ask for furniture... ^^;

I have a similar problem. I hadn't played the game for over a month and I didn't want to lose and of my beloved villagers so I travelled back in time to the last time I had played and now I'm time travelling day by day trying to catch up to the current date. Because this can be quite boring I needed to find something to do between the days so I started breeding flowers and now my town is a mess of unorganised flowers that are literally everywhere and so I moved them to the beach but now the beach is a mess

Yes it is. I'm a terrible hoarder. I literally have things thrown on the floor because there's not enough room in my wardrobes. Finally had enough and sold everything that was on the ground. At least I can see the pavement again instead of green leafs.

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I have probably over 100 ores behind my town hall and I honestly have no idea why. I doubt I will ever use them to refurnish!

My suggestion is to sell everything or give them away on this site, and if you need the later on, just buy them from people online. I think you are a little to paranoid as to what you are going to need later on ;D

Just last week my town was a big clutter and a TOTAL nightmare! x_x Been spending countless of hours every day since though on just cleaning and cleaning, that my town is almost completely bare now. Been removing flowers, trees, items, patterns and PWPs. There's so little left! SO MUCH WORK TO DO!

I almost liked the mess more than complete emptiness, but I must keep working! It will work out one day >u<

Basically, I had a few friends come over and take anything they wanted, and since I had hoarded unorderables and/or super expensive items, they hogged almost everything. Meaning, I am buying again so much - they took stuff I wanted to keeeeep QuQ

I sold a ton of stuff too, and right now my left room in my Mayor's house is a big cluster**** of items until I turn that back into a kitchen. It's starting to look good though. ;3
