I FOUND THIS INFO IN ANOTHER GROUP!

🌴🌴CRUCIAL PSA: 🌴🌴

1. HACKERS ARE HACKING ITEMS INTO THE GAME
There has been reports from large communities such as Nookazon stating that there are hacked items being given out in Mystery Bag events and bricking inventories. Nookazon quote:
🌴🌴 i have seen this by many people in groups that there are hacked items being traded in Mystery Bag events. These items are presumed to have once been hacked items that have been removed or replaced by Nintendo or maliciously made by users to ruin other people's games. Once opened, these items cannot be removed from your inventory, as far as we know, by any means. It cannot be thrown in the trash, sold, dropped, or stored.”

Not trying to spread rumors here. Just trying to find out if this is real or if it was and has been fixed in a patch.

There's another post on here about it so, yes, it seems to be true. This started AFTER the last patch and hasn't been patched yet. So I would avoid any "mystery bags" until Nintendo addresses it.

Here is a thread where we've been discussing the info. It's unfortunately true, and there are some tweets saying that you are totally and legitimately borked if you open one of those gifts atm since they can't be thrown away, sold, re-wrapped, etc...

Hi, as others mentioned there's an active thread for this topic here, so I will lock this one.
