Is this enough space between villagers homes?

Need to know if this is enough space between a villagers door and the back of a villagers house.. there is 4 space gap between the two homes. Just need to know if that is enough space for a villager to plot.

Oh yeah that's loads of room! I have Genji and Molly together, only side by side instead of back and front, and the space is a lot smaller than that. And I've got other villagers plotted right next to the cliff and cliff edge. I think it only needs to be a couple of squares room between houses though
