So, somebody just gave me permission to use an EPIC town idea! I feel really motivated! I'm making a start.
But, in my town it's snowing. :-( It makes everything ugly. The snow-covered trees, houses, PWP's, grass and buildings all look terrible.
So, I was thinking for the sake of my dream address, if I should time travel back to Summer to make it look good and match the theme nicely.
What do you think? Would it be worth time travelling backwards for a change of season for my town's appearance? Or do you think I should leave it in present time so that people who visit could see the town in different seasons?

I would change the season if I were you :) I'd like for people who would visit my town see it in its best form!

If you're starting the town from scratch, it might not be ready for a couple of months, so I'd say to leave it :)

By the time your ready for the dream, it probably won't be snowing anymore.

Thanks everyone! I guess I'd be time travelling to Summer then! Thank you so much for your opinions and feedback!

And don't forget, if you're time traveling to the present and keep your villagers. Enact beautiful town ordinance, deny villager's moving(if noone's moving yet, time travel two days forward), then time travel forward at any amount of days to the present. Based on some guides I read. I didn't try it out myself but since it's in the majority of most tt guides, it may work.

I can confirm that this is true. I was playing in the present day, stopped Rudy from moving out, saved, and then jumped ahead to December. No one had left.

Oh thanks guys! I'm glad that no villagers would move away, because it took me soo long to do the plot reset trick with villagers. Thanks once again!
