When it rains, I thought you only got 3 gyroids buried in your town the next day. I had six when I played last night. This has never happened to me before. I don't time travel (apart from setting the time backwards or forwards a few hours depending on what time of day it is when I can finally play, but never days at a time), so I don't know that it's a time traveling glitch. Was I just really lucky or is my game on crack?
Yeah,I think gyroids appear three at a time but they accumulate if you don't dig them up, unlike fossils.Did you have a couple of rainy days in your town?When I had a cycling town I'd get a bunch of gyroids because I never dug them up.
Did it rain more than one day in your town? I’ve had them accumulate over multiple days of rain, but I still think I was only getting 3 per day... I just was too lazy to dig them up and ended up finding 6 after my two days of rain.
It's possible to have many gyroids build up in your town to have more than three. It's happened to me all the time due to consecutive rainy days and being lazy to dig them up.
Ooooh! I used to play daily, so I'd always get my 3 gyroids. I didn't realize they stacked up if you played and skipped and didn't dig them up. That makes a lot of sense! Thanks!
