Is there any limit of campsite villagers regenerating?

E.g. today I get Stitches in the camp site, but I already have 10 villagers. Is there any time period I must wait for before Stitches will show up at my campsite again, or am I free to drown myself in campsite resetting for him as soon as I have 9 villagers?
