my friend brought this up, but i hadn't thought about it before!
it bothers her when people use the 'face with tears of joy' or 'crying face' multiple times when they want to convey laughter

i told another friend about this and discovered it bothers her when people aren't consistent with their happy/smiling faces or are repetitive with emojis that convey the same emotion
visual representation:
- sentence 1! ^^ sentence 2 . sentence 3. sentence 4. sentence 5!
. sentence 3. sentence 4. sentence 5!

i don't often use emojis when i'm texting friends, but i've noticed that i use emojis more often when i'm talking to strangers especially on this forum
now i'm curious: is there an emoji or emoji habit that bothers you?

It just seems so dismissive and as though the person couldn't be bothered to write a proper response. It's like the "k" of emojis. I also dislike "

emoji unironically, I will judge. Mostly because I can't see what conversation one would have where that would be the perfect emoji, besides getting your nails done and texting someone about it, of course. Also
