Is there an easy way to get blue roses?

I am trying to breed blue roses by breeding two red roses. Yes, the red roses were actually offspring from orange and purple roses. But when I put them together, all I'm getting are red roses, yellow roses, orange roses, pink roses, purple roses, or black roses. I was doing it right, but according to the hybridization guides, there's no guarantee that hybrid flowers will grow, even if you followed the rules.

I actually just bought 2 blue roses and started from there, because it was the easiest :/ if you want, i can spare you 2 blue roses (once my internet on my 3ds comes back)

I doubt it. I suppose the easiest way would just be to buy them from someone else who already has them, as Sir Integra said. Luckily, once you have 2 blue roses, they breed like rabbits.

Is there an easy way to get blue roses? Well, yes, you can buy them. I played about 9 months before coming online to trade. Even using the guides, it took me 6 months to get a blue rose. By that time I was pretty focused, and I got the second one in about a month. By then I had clumped all my other flowers together and surrounded them with dropped coins so that no other flowers could spawn hybrids. I had 12-14 hybrid reds that I planted diagonally and watered. I had unlocked fertilizer and had a second town, so I usually had 2 fertilizers to use each day. I also walked carefully through town before loading a new day to be sure my villagers hadn't helpfully planted any flowers that could interfere with my plans. I'm happy that I did it myself, but if I had it to do over, I wouldn't hesitate to buy a pair of blue roses to get started. You get them so fast once you have two.... Good luck! You will get them, but it is a bit random, unfortunately.

I used to clutter my red roses in a corner and watered them daily to see if they bred special ones and if those would bred blue roses when I saw that new red roses popped up. I was never really completely sure if my red roses were the special ones that I actually bred though, or it was ones that my villagers like to just plant alongside my roses since I have the Beautiful ordinance activated. So I had to breed them on the private beach area I had since no one could reach them unless they had a wetsuit. Even then, they were really hard to breed since red roses like to breed just other red roses or black roses, and so very rarely did a blue rose appear. I bred one myself and then I decided to quit and ask someone to give me another one since I couldn't seem to get another one to breed after 2 months of constantly water and making sure everything was ideal for them to pop up.

Since you got people to give them to you, you'd have a really easy time breeding tons more. It's much easier and probably less time consuming or as frustrating that's for sure lol.

I feel like this thread helped me a lot. Luckily I can transfer 2 of my blue roses over to my other town to start breeding. If only my wifi would let me play with others I'd be making bank in a TBT Marketplace shop. I've been having SO much luck with hybrids lately. My hybrids must love me.

Heh heh, I agree!
Especially since hardly anyone at all plays Animal Crossing New Leaf where I live.
Although, my purple roses are spreading like wildfire in my second town

Pfff, its never easy unless your lucky. Just grab two FRESH roses with no family history, and start from fresh. It helps! Trust me! But looks like your buying the blue roses anyway haha. Nothing wrong with that.

i got mine from visting a friend for fun... they asked if i want 2 of any hybrid they had... i asked for 2 blue roses.. and they gave me some for free <3

I did the same thing mentioned above already. I got 2 blue roses from another person, and then just started breeding them. For a while, they bred really well, but now they've stopped breeding. I've got about 11 or so blue roses now, which isn't a whole lot.

i also breed mine to sell on here but they are not cheap.. i sell them for 100k each because that is how much they normally go for :3 but if you look around, i am sure you can find cheaper ones

Thanks to ADanishMuffin, there are 9 blue roses in StarFall. They're easier to breed than the other hybrid roses and sells for more.
