I messed up and overwrote a pattern on the wall. So I tried to put something there and now Diana won't take off this default white hat. Kinda wondering if there's stuff they just won't wear? They don't seem to touch the default stuff.
Is there a way to stop villagers from using custom designs in Ables?

I haven't tried it yet, but I think the point of complaining to isabelle about "offensive clothing" is for this. I'm pretty sure if you complain to her about regular non-design clothes they still stay in the villager's closet, effectively making its only use to get rid of ugly custom designs lol

You can always complain to Isabelle about their clothes and she'll go "talk" to them and it'll just reset them back to their default clothing. As for your question, I don't quite know that. I think it's just because you made it, or you put it up there, so they like it more lmao
Ugh I'll try it, I just wish we could put umbrellas in the shop for situations like this.
Also didn't think of it but I'm gonna try to put one of the default patterns from the wall over it. If that works then I'm dumb for even making this thread
