Is there a way to not automatically subscribe??

So, when you post in the threads, it automatically gets subscribed. I'm wondering if it's possible to not subscribe by changing some settings?

In General Settings under "Messages & Notification" there's a "Default Thread Subscription Mode" section. Press "Do not subscribe"!
