is there a way to keep the smol baby trees smol?

i really want to use different tree growth phases in decorating, i think they’d be so cute!! is there way to keep, say, a stage 2 cedar tree stage 2? or a nursery sapling nursery?

Hm... other than planting them really close to something to stunt their growth (since they won't have room to grow), I don't think there is a way. Unless you're okay with having them close together. Like keep them in an open space until they reach the stage you want, then relocate them close to something so that their growth becomes stunted?

I think if you uproot a growing one, then place it somewhere where a full tree will not grow, it will stay at it's current stage in growth. I could test this by time-traveling.

i tried every methods on youtube but the tree still grow so i dont think theres a way to do it.

if you plant a fruit/sapling right beside a rock/tree/etc it won't grow. i have a little farm and have a row of 4 saplings lined up and they never grow.

The only way to do it is to replant it somewhere it can't grow- like beside a building or a river or something. Otherwise they'll inevitably grow.

Yes, this also works to freeze trees in other stages! It has to be a fruit tree sapling though!
