Is there a way to check you've completed the 16 villager cycle?

So there's a villager of mine who moved away a while ago. I've had several other villagers move away after her but I'm not sure how many to be exact. I was wondering is there a way to check that she is out of my game's memory or in other words to see if I have gone through 16 villager's after she left? I'm hoping to get her back.

Oh and she isn't on my Main Street if anyone was going to suggest to check there.

People say once the villager's stopped appearing on main street, but that's not always an indicator, as not all the villagers currently "living" there show up every day. All villagers that've moved out will show up there at some point, though, so if you haven't seen her there yet, you probably haven't cycled enough.

Ah okay thank you. And yeah I don't recall ever seeing her.

Keep a list of all the villagers that have moved out since the one you are trying to get back. Save all the moveout letters. Or after some time you will start seeing them in main street and once you stop seeing them in main street after you've seen them several times and it's been consistent they aren't there anymore, you've cycled enough.

I was also told once they stop appearing on Main Street they are viable for move-in once again, and it's proven true a number of times in my town.

Bob moved out of Noveon over a year ago, but I never saw him in main street until just a few weeks ago. So honestly I don't think it's a very good indication to go by. I usually print out a villager list, circle all the ones I'm positive came after that villager, and keep track of it that way.
