Is there a way to become a staff member?

A handful of people on these forums have the staff member title next to their name. Is the title earned? Or was it gained in the making of these forums? I was just curious lol, I don’t think I have the time to be a staff member and make my rounds around the forum each day.

There usually are staff applications once and awhile. They just held one recently. You have to quality to be one, though.

There's no strict list of "qualifications" we use when choosing who to add to our team other than being 18+ years of age, but generally speaking, we look for people who have a longer tenure on the forums with a somewhat sizable post count, have proven themselves to be helpful and contributory members, and have a relatively clean record when it comes to warnings and infractions. We also tend to look into applicants' post history to get a feel for how they'd mesh with our current team.

We open staff applications whenever we decide as a team that we could use extra help. They'll likely open up again sometime in the next couple months.

Unfortunately not, but just keep en eye out for an official site announcement as the opening of staff apps always coincides with one of our Bell Tree Directs.
