I've been thinking about how I want to design my town after I reach 100% completion on my item catalog. I want to design my town in such a way that I won't have to rely on having certain types of villagers to make it look good. I thought about making a town based on the elements or the seasons since most if not all villagers fit some kind of element or season or at least a mix. Since I still want villagers moving in and out of my town naturally, I want a town design that can accommodate that. This means I will have to redesign a lot but I'm up for it. Do you have any other ideas?

In my opinion my town design (see signature) fits any kind of villagers, because it is - in a way -quite realistic, or structured. As an extra result of concentrating villagers I also gained a lot of space to develop large recreational districts like parks and forests.

Maybe this is a bad idea but you could do like a theme park? Then some of the more colorful characters won't look out of place. You could have the more colorful PWPs like the jungle gym or the spinning one (don't know what it's called! xD)...? Hope that helps a teensy bit :>

The town name you have, you can make a town flag based on it as so for everything else! It can be a dark theme or a light theme, most villagers seem to fit in whichever kind to me, but yeah if for a certain town theme to match with your villagers you can design a shirt for them that's similar or is the theme that they'll probably wear. I think the best way is to get some flowers and place them near areas that might not have a villager move in on it so you have some colour that matches up to the theme and give an over bubbly feel to your town, hope that would helpful in some way!

I like this idea actually. It makes the town lively and gives even the craziest villagers a chance to fit in like you said. I already have a weird mix of PWPs up before I realized I had to plan those out, so this could make it easier to explain why there is a mix of themes. I can make a story where all of the villagers stay and help the theme park town.

Thanks for the rest of the ideas! I'm definitely open to more.
