Is there a limit?

I've resetting the campfire alot today, trying to get Julian (A 1 in 300 chance).
I've getting alot of campers today, but then something happend. They've stopped coming all of the sudden.

Is there a daily limit for resetting the campsite or something? Please let me know.

No limit, but you won't always get a camper.

Maybe it's just a matter of bad luck? I mean, it's like you're starting a brand new IG day over and over, and most days you won't even get a camper (there's many more days in which I don't get a camper than days in which I do get a camper, at least in my town). Keep trying, I think there isn't a limit. Good luck with your search!

You could try turning off your DS completely and then restart the resetting.

There's no limit but you're never guaranteed to get a camper. There's a day every week when it's more likely and you can get several campers in a row by resetting, but it's still just a chance. If you reset a few times more and switch your 3DS on and off, you'll end up getting campers again.

There's no guarantee of getting one unfortunately the best you can do is make sure you don't have a smug in your town already....the gamer generally tries to even out personalities (in my experience at least). Other than that it's all a matter of luck, which is now why I don't bother. When you're trying to get a specific villager and there's over 300 in the game the odds are too slim

guess i just had bad luck when half my town was lazies

i don't know anything about campsite resetting, but i've found my campers usually come right after a villager moves out. i don't know if that's common knowledge or not, though...

I've been resetting my campsite for the last three days, on the same date.

But now something happened I was hoping it won't, I got a repeat camper. Now there really is no point to keep resetting anymore. If you're going to get repeat campers on the same day, I might as well stop.

As far as getting repeat campers go, it is annoying but you will still get new ones, too. It just depends on how long you're willing or able to keep resetting

I have gone 20 times before in a camping reset and not been given a camper. Then I will get three in a row. It is extremely random which is why I dislike the camping reset feature. It is just too time consuming.

I stopped resetting, because when I tried to load the game and I only got a black screen. I was fearing the worst, so I turned off the system, loaded the game and thankfully my cartridge was still working.
