Is there a limit on messages in the new TBT?

The old tbt I'd have to delete old messages to fit new ones

I have 9 pages of messages and I have not run into any limits yet.

I also don't know how to delete any obsolete ones.

There's no longer a cap on messages.

Deletions work a bit differently, but you'll want to click the checkbox next to "participants" to bulk delete messages, and choose the option to leave conversations from the popup at the bottom of the screen when viewing your message index. You can also leave a single conversation with the button at the upper right of the message page.
