As the title says.. I never knew that you had to have certain personalities to unlock certain projects (found out about 2 weeks ago) And I have many PWPs to unlock, so a faster way would be amazing

The diving trick is probably the fastest way apparently where you get a wet suit and go to the corner of your map and stay for like 5 minutes then go back and see if anyone pings you

You can try the diving trick! It's easiest if you have a wet suit, but if you don't yet, you can just stand on the beach or in a secluded corner of your town. The idea is to be somewhere where none of your villagers will see you (but not indoors). So go out into the water or stand on the beach for at least 5 minutes. When you return, walk in front of your villagers who are walking around outside. One should ping you (that's when they act surprised and walk excitedly up to you).

The ping may be a PWP request - but it could be something else, like asking you to change their greeting or catchphrase, or asking to buy or sell you something. To increase your chance that the ping is PWP-related, fill your inventory completely with flowers or shells - that way they can't ask to buy or sell anything.

If the ping isn't about a PWP, go back into the water/beach and wait 5 minutes again, then repeat. Sooner or later, you'll get a PWP request. I've had good success with this over the past few days. I always stop after 1 each day (I believe it's possible to get more than one request per day, just rare). Also, after one hour of play time, you won't get any more pings, you'll have to talk to a villager and they'll tell you that you look tired and to take a break. Once you get that message out of the way, if you wait 5 minutes again, you should be able to resume using the diving trick.

Wow, thanks guys!
What if im trying to get a pwp from a certain villager? Should i only walk in front of that villager?

Yeah or you can like trap them in an area so you know for sure where they are but just don't enter in any buildings or they'll be gone from the trap

I always do it individually anyway (or I did, I've since unclocked them all). Just dig holes around them, preferably by the beach so you don't run past any other villagers and get accidental pings from them. It can take a while sometimes, think the longest I tired of for was 2 hours before getting a pwps request using the dive trick.
