Is the void a list of villagers?

I was wondering If every time we visit someone we get there void villagers added to a list that we will recieve eventually

I would love to know the answer to this as well! Someone I really wanted just moved out of my boyfriend’s town, and I want to know if I might get that villager next time I have a plot open (since I’ve already received his only other void villager and I haven’t played with anyone else in over a month), or if I have to get through every villager move-out of everyone I played with 1-2 months ago first.
