Is the scorpion easier to catch than the tarantula?

Normally scorpions appear way more than tarantulas for me. As soon as they come into season I stop seeing tarantulas. Is this a coincidence?

In my opinion I agree with you. I see scorpions more often than tarantulas.

I've seen posts that some players see the tarantulas more and other see the scorpions more.

For me I see the tarantulas more because they're easier to spot. The scorpion like to blend in with the red flowers.

scorpions are faster & blend in with red flowers, so unlike a tarantula, they can outrun you, making them harder to catch

Well so far i've seen the scorpion more often than i've seen the tarantula. I've only seen the tarantula once and I caught it at the time too. Whereas i've seen the scorpion two nights in a row, including today but i've never been able to get my net out in time to catch it. I'm pretty nervous about catching it though, I was really freaked out when I caught the tarantula tbh I wasn't expecting it to chase me - it felt like some sort of horror film since it was late at night too. So i'm curious to as if the scorpion does the same thing but it doesn't look like it does since each time i've seen it it's just casually walking around. Personally I think the scorpion is easier because each time i've seen it it's just calmly walking around.. haha. Whereas the tarantula chased me.

I've seen the tarantula more than the scorpion. I only just saw the scorpion for the first time last night. It dashed out of some flowers and straight into the river. O_O Guess you have to see it first and sneak up on it. The tarantulas come straight at me so that's how I caught it...

I feel like the tarantula is easier than the scorpion. I've never seen any in my town, but have saw at least 4 tarantulas..

I've seen more scorpions than tarantulas for some reason, so I guess in that sense they're easier to catch?

I've only seen 2 scorpions and I caught the second one. I've never seen a tarantula so I guess scorpions are easier and more common. At least in my town they are.
