Is the ring from HHD in NL?

The ring box you unlock in the department store...Is that available in New Leaf? I can't find it on moribd. I need it bc I'm going to make my town into a proposal for my boyfriend; how nerdy is that! Haha.

No, it's not. That's a new-to-HHD item.

You could always remake a house or building to be the proposal for him. Tell him that you designed this awesome house and you want him to see it and give his feedback.

If it has to be done in NL, you could maybe make a ring shape on the floor in town with patterns and place a silver ore above it?
Not sure if there's any small round items that could work for inside a house though.

I think it's adorable! Too bad the ring isn't there. I can't think of anything similar, either. The best I can come up with is a gemstone? (one of the jewel ores)

Yeah, I might just design something and try to find a piece of furniture I could put it on? I'm thinking of designing the whole town based around it and putting it up in the dream suite and making him visit

Like theoretically I would want to have a path through the town that kind or represents how our relationship has gone? and then end up with either a house or a proposal area :3

This is exactly what I was going to suggest! It would look like a ring bearers cushion and you can put it in like a little "church."

Haven't seen the ring box in HHD, but would the treasure chest (CT island exclusive, 150 medals) be a reasonable alternative? Interactive as it opens. Not orderable and rare to get legit.
