I've been plot resetting... for 3 days.
He will move anywhere but these two spots. Is there anything wrong with them that I'm not seeing?

A villager's house was on the right not too long ago, but I did put that fountain there while he was moved in, so would that mess up another from moving there? I just wanna be done resetting.

I can't see any problems with the location. It's truly all a matter of luck.
I wish you well on your resetting though, I know how tedious it can be.

much luck ~

I've heard that if you have several other villagers in the same area, another won't move there.

I think the fountain is a little too close and overlaps with the outside dimensions the potential spots. I'd back up his house space to 1 more space backward just in case.

Either way, good luck!

From what I see, it looks like it should be fine? I think it's all about the rng, but oh man. 3 days? Good luck if you continue to do so. Plot resetting is super annoying. :( (I have to do some plot resetting soon. ;-; )

Looks like a case of bad luck. There's nothing around those two spots that would be obstructing house building. Lionel is just being silly.

It seems like the fountain may be too close but if Julian was already near it I don't see why Lionel wouldn't plot there, unless for some reason the way the game works, villagers will plot away from PWP.
I don't really know if the coding works like that or not in the game. But I suppose it could be a possibility?

You night want to try getting rid of the fountain just to see if that is, somehow, the cause of him not plotting there.
I'm sorry it's taking you so long to plot his house though.
That's a ridiculous amount of time to try and get him to plot right.

From my experience, the two spots look perfectly fine. I think it's really just luck because I took several hours for my villager to plot their house and they always wanted to plot it right next to my house. I never got it where I wanted it to be but I eventually gave up and settled for a semi-decent spot. Good luck though, hope you get it where you want soon enough.

It should be fine. Honestly , its just a matter of luck because I don't see any problems of the locations you want Lionel to plot on. Unless there is river beside the two spots then i think that's the problem? Idk, but it should be fine and you just need to be lucky.

Did you intend to quote RaineyWood's post as your own? Just like you did with mine in the museum exhibit thread, and VanessaMay18's post in the 'worst part about starting over' thread?

They seem to be doing this a lot actually which is really sad...I mean come it is really obvious....

The spot seems perfectly find to me! I can't think what could be wrong....he might
just be giving you a hard time...I had the same issue with Fauna but she moved
where I wanted her to so it was all good in the end! It might be the fountain
but who knows! Good luck x!
