Everyone has a right to their own opinion, unless you're in a country where freedom of speech and thought is not an option.

While I can understand people seeing Animal Crossing characters as being cute; beyond that... I'm hoping that no one is into zoophilia >.>

I think Lottie is cute personality wise and I suppose maybe appearance wise as well; I hate makeup on animals, so, I'd prefer her without the makeup. I definitely don't think she's gross, so, I'm voting for neither.
