Is it true that bamboo and bushes can grow next to cement? (like town plaza, train station, or town hall) i've seen a couple dream towns with bamboo and bushes like right next to cement and i do not think they were hacked, but just to clarify incase I waste my bamboo shoots/starts.

Example: in place of the first row of flowers next to the trees/cafe

I know bushes can for sure, I have some lined along the train station cement. Not sure about bamboo, I don't use it

Yes. Any kind of tree, bamboo, or bush can grow next to pavement. I have a circle of trees around my plaza.

Didn't know about trees being able to grow next to pavement. I've always wanted to line the back of my plaza with cedar trees but I didn't think they would grow so close to the concrete. Neat, I'm going to finish doing that finally.

Trees and bushes can grow right along cement, yes. I wasn't sure about it at first, but I tried it out by putting a bush right up against my plaza cement, and it grew just fine. I'm not sure about bamboo, since I don't have bamboo in my town, but I'd assume that it works the same.

I've used everything plant-able around my plaza, including bushes trees and bamboo. so yes.

You can place all trees, bushes and bamboo next to the pavement.

For those unfamiliar with bamboo: keep an eye on it because it will spread quickly and is an axe breaker.
