According to GameSpot's article on their Hands-On experience, they state that one Nintendo Wii could hold 4 Villages in it. Does anyone know if it's true, or if there was any confirmation?

I hope so. :gyroiddoh:

Watching the live stream of someone who just got the game, Nook asks him if he wants to check the other houses around the town for one he likes, so I'm assuming there are 4 houses and they remain empty until a person starts living in one, like the GCN version. Just this time all four houses are split up all over town.

No, I'm saying that GameSpot stated you can have up to 4 villages in one Wii.

lol

But yah, I've heard that too... nothing announced directly from Nintendo though. GameSpot is reliable though, not like it's some random internet rumor =p

I really hope it turns out to be true. I don't feel like using my friends wifi just to get Nookingtons. >_<

A matter of what, I don't even like sharing towns with my siblings. We always complain where the flowers should go. x]

I loled at that. xD

It'd be awesome, but my friend got AC:CF from Walmart cause they didn't know the release date and just started selling it. He saw no option of having another village. It could be in the "Other" Catagory though :gyroidwink: Hopefully its true so I can have my own village seperate from my brothers :gyroiddoh:

When I see people saying that...it makes me wish I didn't preorder at EB Games seeing as there's a Wal Mart right across the street!! :gyroiddoh: Maaan! Oh well...guess I have to wait 3 more days...so...long...O.<

The idea of 4 villages on one wii would be awesome!! I mean, I don't have siblings that play AC, but in the old AC games (especially for GC) I'd tend to delete my villages after a while to make new ones, or I'd hate my character's/town's name or whatever...we'll have to wait and see, I guess =/

I did hear that on youtube. I watched an interview from the creator and he talked about you being able to pick your house which is scattered around and also that there will be other villages. Although I'm not exactly sure what that means... I'm sure if you watch one of his interviews on youtube you'll hear him mention it.. sorry I can't give a link :/

I don't see why there shouldn't be multiple villages the game cube had it so it should be in the Wii version but in saying that I had multiple memory cards KeRpow!!

I haven't heard about there being 4 villages - it would be really awesome if so! But there are four separate houses in your village, and they aren't all in one spot. That much I have seen for myself.

IMO I would want only 1, it's hard enought ot maintain one village. Plus I love to share my AC:WW town with my fiance, so I would prefer living in the same village. Its too bad we can't share houses now, at least give us the option to :P
