If it rains, all of your flowers are watered? It's raining in my town today and I was wondering if I could skip out on it or not. All answers appreciated :)

They get watered but I don't think it breeds them unfortunately :(

The flowers do not breed even though they are watered via rain? T_T

I didn't think that was the case? I left my flowers once when it rained and the next day they were all wilting. I was under the impression that you had to water them yourself to keep them alive

Yeah, same thing happened for me. Now I'm using the Beautiful town ordinance though.

That's because, if you're just trying to keep flowers alive rather than breed them, new wilted flowers appear every day. You have to water the wilted ones to make them come back to life the next day. So the rain will save any wilting flowers in your town, but rain (just like regular watering) won't prevent the watered flowers from being wilted the next day.

I would have said rain does nothing, but seeing many people saying opposite...

I have the beautiful ordinance because my town is completely covered in hybrids, and it takes more than an hour to water them all (and that having the golden can that waters 9 squares at once...). But I only once tried to change ordinance to see differences, it was autumn and rained three out of five days... and my flowers went dying if I didn't water them every day myself :(

No need to say I immediately changed back to beautiful and never ever again tried any else.

That's certainly weird. It'd be easier if rain just acted the same as a watering can. Anyway, thank you all for input :)
