Is it safe to TT villagers out for a trade?

Hello. I am wondering if it is safe for me to TT Broccolo to his moving day so that I can get the buyer to pick him up faster? When I talked to him today, Broccolo said his moving day was "The day after tomorrow", so is it safe for me to TT to that day so my friend can pick him up?

And when does the friend pick up the villager? Is it the day before, day of, or day after, and then where would the villager be?

I'm asking because I heard and watch what a villager trade is, but I'm afraid I'll mess it up. Can someone help me?

you can safely time travel to his moving date. if you are ever unsure what exact day it is, you can just time travel ahead one day at a time till Isabelle mentions them moving - your friend has to pick them up on the actual moving day (the day before they are still wondering around your town & the day after their house will be gone).

time travel to March 5th & Isabelle should mention it & you can visit them at their house and see that they have cardboard boxes instead of their regular furniture

You need to get the villager in boxes before someone can get the villager.
If the villager is moving on march 5th then you TT to march 5th. Then someone can pick the villager up.

Completely safe to tt to the move-out date. After that, tt forward one day so your former villager's home is gone and you are ready to move your new villager into town.
