Title. Just wondering cause I've been hearing conflicting information about the glitch being fixed last update. I have Audie in my town and I want to replace her but I'd have to kick her out with an Amiibo in order to sell or trade her. Just wondering if anyone has tested it and if it's safe or not yet? I definitely don't want to cause any problems for anyone else or my own town (again) lol

Sorry if anyone's already made a thread like this, I haven't seen one so..
Help is appreciated, thanks!

I kicked Merengue for someone to adopt via Amiibo. The person hasn't said anything about it glitching so I assume it's safe to do so but it's best to gather more info!

I haven't heard of any amiibo-related issues since the update hit. You're probably (read: 99.9% likely to be) fine.

As someone who helped test if the glitch was fixed, I can safely say Skye has been living on my island without issue since the start of today. Though, I would still take precaution and do the method of checking for glitched villagers by speaking with them 3-5 times extra after inviting them to see if they prompt an invite again.

But, yes, it definitely seems to have been fixed considering no one has made a thread about it since the 1.2.0 update happened. Only threads about it are "has it been fixed??" threads.

I gave away a forced-out Marshal to someone yesterday and seems like it went great!

For reference, I forced-out a Marshal before the patch and it glitched.. Im glad it's patched now 😭
