Knox is moving into my town, and I had him a few years ago. I didn't like him then and am not exactly pleased with the news of him moving in now. I just got Canberra to move out and he is moving in her place. Sigh. How is this possible? SCREAMS

It's strange, the villagers must be cloned to move into your town twice and not remember anything.
I'm sorry that happened! I'd never want a villager I didn't like to move in twice. Crazy since there's at least 300 other villagers to move in instead. :/

well i don't really have an answer for your question but i do have a shared dislike for knox. he is quite possibly the ugliest villager, but he looks great in my "slut" top i designed! ;)

lol that made me laugh. yes he is so ugly and he is another stupid chicken in my town. I'm trying to get Benedict to move out. Knox is also the 10TH villager to move in so I know it will be awhile before he leaves. GRRR

Knox appeared on my main street for awhile. I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

i feel your pain, the chickens are truly the worst. i had tank move in right next door to me, ruining my peach orchard, and it literally took me months to get him out! but soon enough they'll leave, just have patience:lemon:

I'm going to plant pitfall seeds around Knox's house every single day

thx :D my town would be lovely if I could get Benedict to move out and Knox to NOT move-in -.-

After your villagers move out they show up in the Main Street, referred to as a "void". Void holds 16 villagers. Villagers who are in a void won't move into your town until other move outs will replace them. So when villager X moves out he goes into the void. Once 16 other villagers move out, the villager X can move back.

I'm always getting repeated movers into my cycling town, sometimes no sooner have they left the void than they're back. Which I find a bit annoying when it's somebody I don't want. I would have thought in a main town your odds of that happening would be a lot lower...so do you think it's possibly a voided villager? Speak to him when he moves in and see where he says he's come from

Yes there is a 12 villager cycle, once 12 villagers have moved in and back out then the original villager is then able to move back into your village however this may take an incredible amount of time because 12 is a whole town and 2 more!

It's 16 villager cycle, but yeah.

You can catch voided villagers whether they come to your town or you come to them. :( It happens with streetpassing too. If you streetpass someone with a voided villager and you have less than 10 then you'll probably get it.

Ah yep :( them visiting you while you have an open spot would do it. I always thought it was only if I visited somebody until I learn different when I ended up with Scoot when I really didn't want him...
