Is it possible to keep bushes alive?

Topic title says all. I want to decorate my town, but if they die after a few days...it might be a lot of work to keep replacing them D: (I;ve never really used them other than just to test though so is there something I'm missing?)

Is it even possible for them to stay alive?

I "think" you can water them but I'm not 100% on that

Bushes do not die - but they produce flowers for a limited amount of time. Once the flowers are gone, the leafs (leaves?) remain green until it is time for them to flower again.

Ah! Yes that's what I meant by "die" the flowers on the bush xD Thank you so much The flowers disappeared one day for me so I wasn't sure if they were coming back.

bushes are very similar to trees in terms of how they die. If placed directly next to a house, river, PWP, etc., it will die. also, you can only have 12 bushes touching each other at once. this means that the 13th bush that you plant that is touching this group of 12 bushes will die.
