That makes sense, but I can also imagine the person who's selling could possibly get scammed if the person convinced them to move, then just... left. Or quit after it auto-saved. When I bought Marina I paid before because, IIRC, I had less feedback then the person selling, and I didn't want them to get nervousThis wouldn't matter to me anyways because I always make the payment for a villager after I convince them to move to my town, never before.

Yah, I've only used this website for any kind of trades or anything so far (other than my RL friend visiting, but I knew she wouldn't do anything bad). The ratings system is an awesome idea and I've only ever met really nice people hereYeah, with most villagers, even without a screenshot, it won't be a scam and everything will be fine. The problem is with the new super popular villagers like Raymond and Judy where there are a lot of scammers and people who've been scammed. TBT's rating system makes it really safe here, but on other places like Nookazon, it's a lot more dangerous.
