Is it possible for your most recently acquired villager to ask to move out?

I'm pretty sure you will have to move out someone else before moving out your most recently acquired villager. I think the only way to get the most recent to move out is via amiibo card (I could be wrong on that though).

I think it's possible but colloquial wisdom indicates the chance is lower. Don't have sources but most YT vids I've seen about TT move out methods usually indicate it's possible.
my friends are also saying that they got a new villager from someone else and when tting, they asked to move out ! so thats why im thinking its possible but like wow ive been from april to october three times like.. dang
Trust me, I time travelled for irl days to get rid of my latest move in, Muffy and it was fruitless. Time travelling in the +15 day method worked for every villager multiple times except Muffy. Even if it is possible, the odds must be extremely low.
yea.. i think im gonna move out maddie then lucky :'( luckily i had someone who i was willing to move out but oof i shouldve learned about the whole "latest move in cant move out right away" thing first..

it's really unlikely but definitely possible! also if someone asks to move out and you tell them no, they aren't going to ask again until you tell someone else no after
Wanted to chime in and say that yes, I have had my most recent villager ask to move out after a few days too. It seems like the chances are low though as a lot of people are having difficulties with this when looking through the forum.

I think maybe you have to talk to him at least once for him to move out? ... Maybe? I remember seeing theories like that before regarding the last move in. Take this with a huge grain of salt, though, since I've never done TTing stuff/tried to move a specific villager out, so anyone is free to confirm/deny this. At any rate, if you've been at this for a while, it won't hurt to spend like 5 seconds talking to him.

When I was trying to get a plot for Pierce, Tom asked me twice to move. I obviously said no both times, but at that point he was my most recent move-in. Why is it never the ones you want to move lmao

Yes, but apparently only when you have 10 villagers and even then the chance seems to be much lower.
When I had 5 villagers Francine moved in. 2 days later she asked to move.
I moved in Gayle via amiibo and 5 days later she asked to move. It's just random I think bc I talk to them well and don't treat any villagers bad.
