Is it possible for my most recent villager that moved in move out?

I’ve been waiting for them to move out for a few months, and I heard that the most recent villager to move in won’t move out on their own. Is this true?

I don’t think it is because cherry moved in without me wanting to I think a month ago and she wants to move out now shes all packed up saying she’s happy to leave and explore

It's very unlikely that the most recent villager will want to leave. I've never seen the most recent villager with a thought bubble in all my hours of time-travel and grinding. It's painful, as I wish I knew this sooner (I spent HOURS trying to get my most recent villager, Genji, to leave when I needed it most. I had to kick out one of my veteran villagers because of it).

Sadly, I believe it's the case for New Leaf, too. Plucky was my most recent move-in, and as such never pinged me to leave. However, as soon as the next villager moved in, Plucky was all set to leave! Good thing I stopped her in time.

I wish it wasn't the case! Hopefully New Horizons will patch it in an update sometime... In the meantime, I'd recommend kicking out this villager with an amiibo or a random campsite villager, instead.

who chooses to move is another rng. what u want to do is when u talk to a villager who wants to move close your game before u answer whether they should or shouldn't, then ignore that villager whenever u see the cloud. the next day a different villager should get it, keep doing this process till the right one wants to leave.

Yeah it happened to me once. Graham moved in, then asked to leave like a week later. He must have really hated my island haha

It's possible. I got Audie from a mystery island tour. After three days of inviting someone using an Amiibo, I was able to kick her out.

As for the regular method, the last villager who came in won't likely ask to move out.

The only way is to use an amiibo. Otherwise they won't. And I really don't like that

Yeah I moved in roald from the campsite because he's my brothers favourite but it was impossible to move him out even with time travel. Eventually I got the hint and moved out a different villager but god it was frustrating.

Sorry but I beg to differ. I had Gala move in and two weeks later she had a bubble over her head. She wanted to leave. She was last in. To be fair I don't get many asking to leave, my turnover of villagers seems quite slow.
