I was battling the Elite Four on Pearl the other day. Made my way to Bertha, knocked out her first Pokemon and then all of a sudden, she sends out her Hippowdon. But... It was a shiny.

I was confused. She didn't have a shiny in my Diamond game.. or maybe she did and I don't remember.

I was looking around at videos of a fight with her on youtube and saw the shiny Hippowdon there also.

Anyways, what's with one of the Elite Four having a shiny Pokemon?... I want one but I'm to lazy to try. xP

Well, to be sure, shiny Pokemon lets out round sparkles when released in a Pokeball.
