Yes. Out of everyone on earth, during late summer for the most populated hemisphere, you're the only one to hear bugs buzzing.

I'm not hearing as many now, but I heard cicadas all summer. They're so annoying to me, I can't stand the constant buzzy/chirping noise.

I hear them. And I like it, because its the meaning of Summer.

I hear some right now, lol. I hear them pretty much every afternoon/night. I don't know exactly when, but I think it was last summer that we had THOUSANDS of them flying around & on every tree, it was terrifying.. They'd bump into you, stick to you, land on you- and it was really loud. I rarely left the house 'cause there was so many of them LOL

I love picking up their shells though!

I don't, my apartment is pretty sound proof and my husband likes to have the air on when it's so hot so we don't have the windows open to hear anything. I live pretty close to the city, too, so even with the windows open I don't think there are very many cicadas around here.

i don't hear them a ton here, only crickets really. unless those crickets are cicadas and my parents have been lying to me my entire life.
