I think it is a really fun experience. You don't get infinite money in real life. You can troll villagers by pushing them into a pitfall surrounded by them, you can fill your town with them and it can be used as an asset
Great responses everyone! I definitely think earning money from beetle farming is a necessity to pay off your mortgage and PWP's amd gracie furniture
I guess what I mean when I say being rich in ACNL is having millions stashed away in your cash machine which you don't really need
I definitely think though it could be fun because you can afford to make any drastic changes to your town if you wanted to etc.
This is why in my first town i'm aiming to complete everything
But in my second ACNL copy, i'm going to take it more easy and not rush for bells like I did in my first copy!
For me, no. It's only because I'm still continuing to try to earn money for my two towns and that, in case I do get bored, I always make a new goal: buy rares from other people, build PWPs, meet new friends on Club Tortimer, make a new character, literally anything that'll keep me occupied.
I wouldn't say that being extremely rich is boring. I mean, there's still a lot of things left to do anyway even if you're practically able to buy nearly anything you want. You still have to wait for the RNG to finally come up with items you needed to catalog, you still have various creatures to catch, you could have up to 30 PWPs, you could still have to win enough medals on Club Tortimer to get one of the golden badges,... The list goes on and on.
i don't think it's boring either, because there's still a lot of stuff for you to do in game. like earn badges and stuff, catch bug, collect art... oh! and spruce up your town. LOL i don't think i can really get bored with this game bc of how much there is to do.
