Is Feng Shui confirmed to be in the game? And what does it affect?

Has Feng Shui been confirmed? I tried setting up red items towards the east of the room and it seems like I’ve gotten more gold nuggets than I have in a while. Also haven’t had much luck with Purple Tulips in a while, but after trying out Feng Shui, I have gotten 2. Is it confirmed to be in the game? Or did RNG just favor me at the time?

I have no idea what it affects, but the HHA keeps telling me in their letters that I either have good feng shui in my room or need to improve my feng shui, so it must exist.

I've read that people say you're only judged by your main room and I think that's true. I got a S rating pretty easily and only worked on my main room, the other rooms were just storage for me at that point.

It was mentioned in the guide, I’m assuming the concept is the same as New Leaf where it increases your luck

I just plan to take advantage of it until I got what I need (ie. specific hybrids, gold nuggets) then ditch it altogether. My rooms look pretty messy adhering to it, but just did it anyway since I haven’t really bothered designing my house yet.

This tracks, my 4 extra rooms are empty bc haven't been bothered to furnish them yet and the HHA is still giving me a fairly good rating
