ik it can depend on what country youre living in, im in the uk and last night (i havent played ac in months) ii couldnt find a full server and bumped into the same people twice.. i hate going on worldwide but how is it for you guys

I don’t tend to go on any more cause I find the same too. Hardly ever anybody is on and when I do find people they’re island hoping and don’t want to do any games.

You should be changing the title to “Is this game dead?” And to answer that question, is yes. This game is over 6 years old and many have been anticipating a new main game since the Wii U days, but we never got one. The closest thing we got was the worst spinoff Nintendo has ever made.

So now we’re waiting until next year. But to answer your club tortimer question, I guess it’s because they got bored of the game and waiting until AC Switch comes out. That’s my guess.

Greece's club tortimer islands was always dead, even 3 years ago. Lucky, you saw your country's islands active in the past. Maybe United States, Germany, Spain etc still get good amount of visitors even after game's 6th year, but it was always this way for me

I actually get a full island most the time, so im not really sure, but there are more people willing to do tours when i go international ive noticed

I’m from the the UK as well and i’d Normally visit the island at night as well. You’d find a few groups during 9pm to 11 pm though if you play later it’s pretty much dead. International is awkward due to miscommunication between language barriers :S

went on there once or twice, then never again. unless you're a social butterfly with a heart of gold or really want achievements, there's not much point, which is why i assume it's dead

I always find people when I go there, and most of the time they are kind and we do some minigames together... There are times when I find some idiots but they are few (in my experience).

It's been forever since I went so I don't really know. I'm guessing that there are a few people who still go onto the islands. And that's only in North America.

I see people in NA when I island hop--I don't really enjoy doing tours with other people, as I always have a bit of lag when I'm not in my own town, and it's hard to communicate, and I'd rather trade with someone from here. So for me, CT is really about the exclusive items.

I stopped using it ages ago because I got tired of rude people.

I did run into a few people I thought were nice at the time, and I traded FCs with some of them but they all turned out to be awful in the end. They'd come into my town whenever my gates were open and run through my flowers. When swapnote was a thing one person would send me notes every other day asking me to open my gates, and if I did he'd try to steal things. I deleted his FC one day when he started whinging about how I wasn't a good friend because I caught him cutting my trees and flipped my wifi switch off to kick him out.

So if it's truly dead that'd be great for me because I'd like to get some of the CT exclusive things without having to deal with jerks.
