Is anyone into the saw franchise?

It has come to my attention that saw 8 might come this or next year. Does anyone like saw? I've been far too long for the 8th movie. I hate it when movies end with cliff gamers and saw 7 did just that....

I don't like or respect it or its sequels as proper forms of horror, but there's a few funny and creative ways of killing the usually dumb people that deserve it. An 8 seems excessive though. They've just gotten boring now. That's just my opinion anyways, I'm usually very picky is all.

I knew X JAPAN had a song on the 4th movie soundtrack (named I.V. or something) but that's it.

I'm not really into the the franchise, but I actually have pretty fond memories about the earlier movies. After moving schools, the first really close friend I made (who I'm still really good friends with today) invited me over to her place and we binge watched like 4 of the movies. That was probably 7 years ago. I think I stopped watching after the 5th one? I can barely remember what happened in any of them.

I liked the 1st one but overall I thought the franchise went downhill and was pretty forgettable.

That's usually what everyone says about them. Mehhh I like them. I like how the story is all wonky because of all the different directors used. Apparently the original director is coming back for saw 8

I liked them up until the fourth one.
I plan on watching the rest, anyway, just because...but I doubt that I'll like them.

the movies suck but I do love the creativity of the death traps, those are the only parts I like TBH
sometimes I just watch videos of just the traps and don't bother with watching the full movies anymore :I​

I am terrified of this series, I dislike it greatly. Don't know why there are so many of them especially since the main plot for the series kinda ended after like the third or fourth from what I heard.

Nooo its supposed to be over! Lol! They should have ended it after the 4th one, really. The first movies werent bad but after 5 it was like. Ok. We get it. Torture devices. Whoop de doo. Lol
