Is anyone else really bummed that the new Chibi-Robo is a side-scrolling platformer?

I guess I'll just scratch my Chibi-Robo itch by replaying the GameCube version.

I really gotta say I'm bummed with Nintendo.

The new Animal Crossing is entirely underwhelming. No unlocks? It really has nothing about Animal Crossing that I love to death. It just doesn't FEEL like an Animal Crossing game despite the usual charm and character.

And now a Chibi-Robo that feels nothing like a Chibi-Robo game. :(

Well, i never grew up playing chibi-robo as i got the gc late in its life (late 2006-2007) so i can't really say much about it, but i have heard of it >.< and the amiibo festivale, it just was a mario party game with a animal crossing skin and title slapped on it.

If anything, I'd just get the amiibos, they're nice as collectibles, even though they're for use with that game only

Definitely, I was so hoping they would do a follow on :(

Chibi robo is one of my favorite games, and I got so hyped to see this banner. Now I'm saaaad

After the other recent Chibi-Robo games not really, I just have no expectations for the franchise anymore. If I did, then yes I would be really bummed...

I'm pretty bummed about it. Especially because I never got to play any of the original ones. And GameCube games are so expensive now...

I'm lucky enough to have the GC version, but I do not have a GC or Wii anymore because my [exploitative] brother in law borrowed BOTH and we haven't [exploitative] gotten either back in FOUR [exploitative] years.

I'm a little bitter about it. :P All this time I thought our GameCube was in the gaming closet with our SNES. But nope. Just found out when I was going to hook it up to play Chibi Robo, too.
