Is anyone else playing The Longing? I think it's such a unique concept and is just relaxing. (Please no spoilers!)

This is the only other game I know besides Animal Crossing that uses real life time. It's about a shade that I've named Mr Burns (since he looks like him) who has to wait 400 days for his master/king to wake up. And that's real life days! So in the meantime, you can just explore the cave, find things to decorate your room, etc to kill time. Or you can just never open the game again until the 400 days are up.

This is basically a waiting and walking simulator (and he walks veryyyy slowly), but for some reason it's so charming and I find myself feeling so attached to Mr Burns. Apparently there are multiple endings and outcomes. And you can even shorten the amount of time you have to wait. Apparently you can die. I have no idea. I just want to take care of him and make him happy.

This game is just full of little surprises and I adore it. I hope more people try it out! Again, please no spoilers! I like being surprised and discovering things for myself. Just didn't see much talk about this little gem and I wanted to make sure people knew about it hehe. It's perfect for Switch since you can just let the little dude walk while you do other things and just keep an eye on him :)

I played it, and found it interesting. Yes, without giving much away, you can speed (or even reverse) time, so you don’t necessarily have to play for over a year and change, but I found that after the first few weeks, there wasn’t much to do, other than wait for certain events that could lead to specific outcomes. It does have that realtime vibe of AC though!

I won a nintendo gift card today and just downloaded the game!
Any tips or things I need to look out for? (Please put in spoiler if its considered a spoiler) I'd like to get the most out of this game as calmly and slowly as possible :)

I never heard of it before, but it looks really interesting. I researched it a little bit and I really like the premise and the endings. I can't believe it's on the Switch, but a lot of bad indie games are as well so anything's gotta a chance I suppose.
