is anyone doing the toy day event?

I wouldn't miss it for the world. I love Christmas and can't wait to experience Toy Day in-game. I'll be home alone (well, without other people, but with my lovely pets) on the 24th and 25th. The game will add a little festivity and I will enjoy interacting with all my villagers.
I'm absolutely doing it! I LOVE events and love Christmas ☺ In fact, I'll probably be buying my neighbors EXTRA presents (besides just birthday gifts, I had a lot of December birthdays by coincidence) for the day of or day before.
But I've always loved any event, no matter how small, so I'm looking forward to it! Actually, the way I played CF was to TT between the different major holidays- I used the Bells I earned from selling the furniture to pay off my loan
It wasn't the intended way to play the game, but I loved it!

It sounds a fun even and I am definitely looking forward to experiencing Christmas in game. Like a lot of people, I will be having a quiet Christmas this year so the event will be something to look forward to. It will be nice to do something festive and I am looking forward to seeing Jingle again as he is adorable 
i recently set the time back to normal on my switch so i'm gonna give toy day a go ^-^
i need all diys and to do that i have to do the events and i might enjoy it ☆
I mean if you do toy day this year and don't enjoy it, fair enough you don't have to do it again.
Unless the events are different for next year?
There's something special about Toy Day music and wandering about in the evening in-game, so I'll be playing it even if it's 'underwhelming' compared to what we're used to.

I've already played it twice. Anyone looking for details on whether it's worth doing feel free to read the spoiler below.
The event takes place the ENTIRETY of the 24th. You can play from 5am until 5am. It is VERY quick (you can easily do it in less than 15 minutes). One important thing to note, is that if you want Jingle's photo you should definitely do the event! And pay attention to what he says.

I have bewn buying toy day toys and wraping them for my villiagers. I also am looing forward to the event.
Do the presents given out show up in our villagers houses/inventories?
how did u unlock the event?

You simply have to make sure your switch is connected to the internet and get on the day of the event you cannot unlock it early.
