a jerking in their town when you walk fast or run? Ever since I did the update, my main does does this, every time I walk fast/run, and sometimes when I walk normal. I was hoping that it would stop by now but it has not.

No, my town seems to move smoothly. I only noticed that my characters feet kick up little static-like lines on the toes of her feet, when I run/walk along my paths.

I have noticed that too. This jerky movement though.....maybe after they do another update it will stop. It does not do it in my cycling town. I have not booted up and updated BodhiWyn or Cascades yet, so do not know about those two.

I have not noticed this in any of my towns, but I am so DELERIOUS trying to collect Meow coupons for my Sanrio set arriving tomorrow, that I suspect I might be a bit brain dead. I will keep my eyes open (or at least one, lol) for this glitch.

It just dawned on me in my main town I have paths down, but not in my cycling town. I wonder if that has something to do with it.

You are getting yours tomorrow? I be jealous! :-) The new cards set I ordered comes with those. But I am not sure when they will arrive.

i havent experienced that, no. i dont really have paths but ive laid tiles scattered all over the place and nothing seems to be wrong with my town scrolling down/to the side as i run?

i'm experiencing some glitching/anti-aliasing problems that weren't there before. also the water in my river is totes mcgoats gross now. D: i wonder what they did that made things do these things that weren't happening before. (๑•ิཬ•ั๑) also my sentence got really crazy at the end there.

I enjoyed watching my mayor run, I think it is so cute how they run....but this takes the fun out of that, lol

I think it's likely to do with your paths. I've read various things along these lines. I personally don't have paths but haven't experienced this.

It's happening in my main town so far.

Also has anyone noticed the glitches with the villager's carrying nets or umbrellas. It only happens when you exit a building and they're right beside it or nearby.

I don't know what you mean by "Jerking". I never experienced with this.

Don't know really how to explain it....Kinds like watching an old fashion movie reel that is so old it skips.

I have paths down on my town and I'm able to run without any weird glitches. So it's not affecting every single person with paths.

tbh ive seen so many posts like these and it really puts me off installing the update :(

Hmm, I wonder...

I recently did two things to my 3DS XL: I installed Welcome Amiibo and I installed the Isabelle theme on it. Ever since then, I've noticed it has a little pause when booting up that I don't remember it having before. Possibly because the SD card inside is filling up. So maybe if ACNL is saved on the 3DS instead of a cartridge you could clean it up somewhat? Deleting demos and such? Otherwise, yeah, it could be because of all of the patterns on the ground.

Mind you, this is all speculation. Hopefully someone else will stumble on this thread with a better idea of what's going on.

I agree with many people above. It might be your paths and the design of them making it seem like this? maybe try running somewhere else.

I think I will remove some paths and then run again and see if it still happens.

Also, my cycling town is digital, my main is cartridge. So you may have appoint about too much on my cartridge

It doesn't happen to me, or maybe I just haven't noticed but it's definately not all jerky
