Is a second town worth it?

I'm planning on buying a second copy but I also have access to two systems, which is helpful.

Back in the days of Wild World I'd also bought a second copy, and it was worth it. And in the days of PG I had multiple memory cards and always had about 3 towns at the same time!

I'm usually the kind of person that's constantly resetting his town because he's unable to "settle down" and gets bored easily (thanks adhd...) But in order to not have to deal with that as much, having multiple towns is a way to distract myself from that reset urge. & Honestly one of the main reasons I don't want to reset in acnl and I have yet to do so is that I want my town tree to get huge!

Another thing is that I really want a horror/creepy/messed-up themed town, but I don't want to ruin Oxalis in order to do that.

As well as the fact that my game cartridge keeps getting popped out when I have my ds in my pocket, or even when I just randomly bump into something while holding it, which can make me lose HOURS of progress. So I plan on getting a digital copy of the game, moving Oxalis to the digital copy via the save data transfer tool, and then using the cartridge for the secondary town.

I don't go online, nor do any of my friends have the game, so it did make sense for me, just in terms of being able to get some of the badges, unlock the train station remodel, and have more options in the shops. I also have dreamies in both towns. I'd hate for them to move, because I love all my villagers, so this way I have 20 of my favorites.

I think so, I've always wanted a Japanese copy of the game but then I figured out it's only for the Japanese 3DS but I wanted a second copy, so yeah it's worth it! <3
