Ironically, finding 'low tier' dreamies seems to be much harder than 'high tier' ones

Just something I noticed on the few weeks I have been here. Out of all my dreamies, I've got Ankha and also Kid Cat, who was kind-of-a-dreamie-but-not-really (I already love him, though!) and both of them are high tiered, so they should be among the rarest villagers, right? I am not sure. It seems to me finding low tiered villagers is much harder, I guess partially because of the auto-void mentality, but I see more people asking desperately for the low tiers they can never find which isn't the case for the Marshalls and Beaus, since as long as you have enough bells or TBTs, you can get them really quickly.

Speaking for myself only, I am yet to find someone even offering Carmen. If the tier list wasn't a thing I would think she was a massively popular villager, but nope, she is tier four. The good thing? When I finally find her, it will be so satisfying.

Anyone else have/had a hard time finding a low tier villager?

Like, I have wendy in my town and it took me forever to get her because most people often auto-void her. :/

In my cycling town, I make sure each villager who's in boxes a chance to be adopted. I usually give them like an hour or more to see if someone will take them.

I see what you mean. You'd think the tier 1 villagers would be harder to find since there isn't as many as the tier 5 villagers. I'm not really on the lookout for any villagers in particular but I feel like some villagers are harder to find than others, even though you have the same chance of them moving into your town as you do a more popular villager.
Good luck trying to find Carmen! Lets hope she pops up in someone's cycle town sometime soon.

Yes, the low tiers are rare. It's really a shame that some are so hard to find. I've ended up paying a few mill for low tiers just because I couldn't believe they were available for adoption, and I wasn't about to miss out on my chance at getting them.

I always have a hell of a time finding Gala (I reset a lot), because she's such a low tier and people auto-void that cutie

I was on a quest to find Egbert ever since I got the game. and I didn't get a hold of him until not too long ago. kinda sucks. wish I could handle running a cycling town, would try my hardest to find homes for those lower tier villagers.

I think finding dreamies in general is hard, but yeah it took me forever to find Avery.

Yea, it's harder because people always put them on auto void because not as many people are looking for them.

Took me forever to find Mott, and I refuse to let him leave. Ever. For the very reason of lower tiers being auto-voided, I may wind up snagging a fourth copy of the game just for cycling purposes, since I have too many villagers I refuse to let go of for sentimental reasons...

It took me quite a while to find Savannah, Peaches, and Winnie. It's true that tier fives are a lot more rare than tier ones. I have a cycle town myself and I auto-void tier fives unless I have someone lurking for them in my thread - it's just too much of a hassle for me personally to hold on to a villager for a long time that I am going to give away free. I like to get through to villagers I can actually make some sort of profit off of since I'm spending so much time cycling in the first place.

It took me what felt like forever to get Keaton, then nearly a week to get Kody.

Thankfully, a couple nice folks on the site helped me get them after seeing my posts in the Looking For thread (I only posted once a day since I didn't want to be obnoxious about it).

Lower tier villagers are some of my favorites, and I always feel bad when I see people looking for low tier villagers. Unfortunately, there are also a lot of villagers in the game (333, I believe?); with the amount of those villagers, one'd think it'd be easy to get the lower tier villagers, but I actually seem to have higher tier villagers show up in my cycling town over the low tier ones even though I never AV villagers (also haven't cycled for a while, I'll admit).

This is a sad truth, I feel like people make the popular villagers popular so people can have a harder time finding less popular ones.
