i wouldn't go that far

he just knows how to maneuver his way around tricky questions. the tech behind the new system is supposed to be a secret as of right now, since it's yet to be released. if it was stolen and made by a shoddy company, that'd be really bad. it's an HD media type, that's all that really matters. HD enough for gaemin.

i also think that it "just being a box" is a kinda lame excuse to make up for their confusing as hell conference.
i mean, if it was named something completely different, that would make sense. adding a u to the end of a pre-existing console, showing the previous console's controllers used alongside the new one, and not formally showing the console itself.. kinda awkward.

but that's just me. meh. looking forward to it, good stuff, just could've been handled a little better, imo.

But Reggie pretty much confirmed in the 3rd video (or at least I'd like to think) that the Wii U is just a code name like the Revolution was, and will be changed.
I think Nintendo did a sloppy conference just because they knew they could, because if even the whole thing was Miyamoto taking a dump on the stage they'd still sell millions of consoles. Hehehe.
