Interest Disabled?

I am fairly new and when i clicked on the ABD at the shop there was something called "Interest" there and I am wondering what did it do and why is it disabled? Also will it ever come back or is it going to be disabled forever?

It was a thing to get some "interest" on Bells you put in the ABD. So like free TBT.

Unfortunately some members were abusing it so it was disabled. Dunno if it'll be back.
