hey! New here.

I couldn't find an answer to this,
I was wondering if it matters what you answer when villagers talk to you' or in ceremonies for exp. the 'yeah, we did it' vs. 'on to the next project' or

Also, Does it matters if I complain to Isabel about another villager? I once put 'i don't like his clothes' but it didn't really change anything later on.

Well, as for when villagers talk to you, if they're asking you something, like if they want you to get them something, it'd probably be good if you got it for them-- Only if you want to be their friend that is. As for the ceremonies, I don't think it matters-- It hasn't that I've noticed.

And no, I don't think complaining about them does anything, either. It hasn't ever changed anything for me, anyway.

Complaining about villagers will change their outfit to the default one, but I think it only works if they're wearing something with a pattern. If you complain about a letter it gets rid of the first one you've sent them or that someone else has sent them, and complaining about their language changes their catchphrase to "uh-huh!" It doesn't affect your relationship with them though.
