Instant regret letting villagers go

Not so much regret as a bit of guilt, I guess.
I recently let Apple and Norma go - I found both very cute but they were just not my dreamies and I booted them out with amiibos.
I did and still do feel a bit guilty because they were also the 2 first villagers that gave me their photos... but then I keep reminding myself that they are AI's and that I was lucky enough to get some of my favorite villagers in sealed amiibo packs so it was meant to be... lol.

I moved out Chief two days ago and instantly regretted it. Now I'm praying I find him on a NMT island because I miss him so much ;-;
I did not think I'd get that attached to him lol

I can use Chief amiibo to get you him (for free). NMTs are the worst way to find villagers. The RNG rolls for species and then character. So finding a wolf, and then the right wolf, will lead to waste of NMTs and keep the NMT market inflated

I let Hornsby go a few weeks ago, and I miss him terribly. His house bugged me though, so I don’t miss that.

I really miss Diva. She was one of my starting villagers, so I let her go for two reasons. 1) Her interior was stuck at the starting stage. And 2) A friend of mine was giving me a dreamie of mine. Though, I would also say I don't really like her interior in NH compared to NL, I still miss her face.

I just let Ellie go because I also have Merengue and they are quite similar looking. But now I am low-key regretting it and wondering if I should maybe have kept Ellie and eventually let Merengue go...

I definitely prefer Ellie over Merengue. I’ve prob used Ellie’s amiibo more compared to Merengue. Follow your heart!

Aw tysm ;o;
I'm currently holding villagers for a friend, so if/when I get space I'll let you know!

I miss Pango. When I played AC for Gamecube as a kid, I always wanted an anteater and never got one. It was fun to finally meet one in NH, and if the villager cap were something higher than 10 I would've told her to stay. If I met her again, it'd be impossible not to bring her back, even if it derails my current plan. It can be fun when random chance gets to play a role in things too, so we'll see.

I was super sad letting Rudy go. He was my starter. I didn't care for him much at first but he really grew on me. Right before he left he gave me an ugly orange lawn mower that I keep outside my house to remember him. I also have his photo that he gave me hanging up in the house.

I gave Apollo and Stitches to two of my friends. I was so heartbroken over Stitches even though I have his card! Apollo just moved out today, and I didn’t think I’d be so sad about it, but I miss him, and I’m worried my town won’t be the same without him (sounds dramatic, I know- but I liked that his hobby was different from Dobie’s who was my other cranky).

My goal for this town was to not have any repeats of old towns, so sadly they had to go, and they were dreamies for my friends as well which makes it a bit better.

I moved out Agnes for Plucky. At first I felt really bad because she was my starter until Plucky’s amiibo card came in the mail. After that I was like ✌🏻 Good riddance.

In NL I let go of Celia and Sprinkle, I regretted it because they turned out to be so cute and sweet.

Zucker! But i was lucky enough to get him a second time as well now he's here for good ^^

I let Skye go because she had the basic house interior, then spent hours finding her again on mystery islands. Her interior is lovely now! Her friendship reset but worth it imho.

I let Filbert go because although I liked him, I changed my mind about him being a forever resident. I regret not letting someone adopt him though; I just voided him. I’m a mean person. 😔

DOM! I traded him for Marshal cause I really wanted Marshal. But after awhile I started to miss him! He was honestly so great ):

Ugh this just happened like last week to me.

I found Rosie on an island and I love her so I was super excited and we quickly became best friends. I was planning on having her on my island forever, since she’s one of my favorites and my island is Cat Cove lol

Then one day, Zell was at my campsite. I really like him so I decided to go for it. Talked to him so much. Later that day, he expressed interest in moving. I knew he would pick who he’d replace, but I just assumed it would be a villager I was not as close to.

He chose Rosie :cry: I mean, I think Zell is Pretty cool but... Rosie...

I moved out Eugene not too long ago and regretted it a bit! But I gave him to a friend so I can still visit him if I want which is nice! I think it's always a little bit hard letting villagers go even if they're not your favorites!

I miss Avery. I let him go because of a villager at my campsite that I wanted desperately and I instantly regretted it but I found Chief at the first island I visited after he moved out and I’m starting to warm up to him.

Next time close your game quickly when he suggests Rosie and load it back up. The villager name will change.
